Cerro Coso Offers Microsoft Office Specialist Certification Testing

Ridgecrest, California – November 22, 2002

Cerro Coso Community College will administer the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification test for Office versions 2000 or 2002 of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook core or MS Word Expert and MS Excel Expert on Friday, December 6, 2002, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The Microsoft Office User Specialist certificate provides formal recognition of proficiency in one or more of the Microsoft Office desktop applications. For students and employees this certificate can be a valuable asset in any job search or career advancement. The cost for taking each Microsoft exam is $50. Exams take approximately 45 minutes to complete and are competency based.
