Cerro Coso Community College Hosts New President Reception

Mojave/California City – September 26, 2002

Cerro Coso Community College will host a community presidential reception on October 10, for new College president Dr. Sharon K. Dyer.

The community reception for Mojave will take place at Mariah Country Inn, 1285 Highway 58 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. The community reception for California City will take place at La Conquista Restaurant, 8600 N. Loop Blvd. from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Dr. Sharon Dyer most recently came from the Del Norte campus of College of the Redwoods where she served as Vice-President. Prior to College of the Redwoods Dyer served at Blue Mountain Community College, Yakima Valley Community College, and Tacoma Community College. Dr. Dyer’s higher education administrative experience spans 33 years.

The public is cordially invited to attend the community reception in honor of Dr. Sharon Dyer on her appointment to President of Cerro Coso Community College.
