Registration Times

Priority Registration Order

Priority registration is given to Continuing Students who have completed one or more components of the matriculation process. Matriculation components consist of assessment, orientation, counseling and the completion of a Student Educational Plan (SEP). Even if a student is exempt from matriculating, the student may complete any of the components to increase the probability of academic success.

  • First Priority - Special populations and those students who file for graduation.

  • Second Priority - Continuing Students who have completed all four Matriculation components (assessment, orientation, counseling, and completion of a SEP).

  • Third Priority - 1) Continuing Students, including students with AA degree or higher, who have completed three of the four Matriculation components. 2) New Students, including students with AA degree or higher, who have completed three of the four Matriculation components.

  • Fourth Priority - Newly matriculated students who have completed three of the four Matriculation components.

  • Fifth Priority - Continuing non-matriculated students.

  • Sixth Priority - All remaining students not included in other priority groups.

You may be given priority registration status if you complete the following steps:

  1. Make an appointment with a counselor.

  2. Select your courses.

  3. File a Graduation Evaluation Request Form with a counselor who will verify eligibility for graduation and give you a priority registration time.

Priority Registration Appointments

Students can view their priority registration appointments via the web. Go to myBanWeb.

  1. Log in using your Student ID Number and PIN

  2. Select the Student and Financial Aid menu option

  3. Select the Registration menu option

  4. Select Check Your Registration Status

You may also inquire at your local campus office, or at the Office of Counseling, or at Special Services at the IWV campus. You may register at the time shown or anytime thereafter that the myBanWeb system is available. Your registration will not be accepted prior to the scheduled time. Priority registration notification will not be mailed.

On Campus Registration for Summer/Fall 2009

  • On-Campus registration begins April 29.

    • No appointment required

    • Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8:00am to 6:00pm, Fri. 8:00am to 12:00pm

Registration after Classes Begin

To ensure maximum opportunity to enroll in the class of your choice, you should register during the established registration period prior to the beginning of the semester. Beginning the first week of a course, registration in a course requires the instructor's signature.  Beginning the second week of classes, registration in a course requires the instructor's signature and the Vice President of Academic Affairs' signature as well as a written request to add a course.  Add Forms for completing this process are available in Admissions and Records and in Counseling.

Short Term Classes

You may not add a short term/late start class by phone or online on/or after its initial class meeting date. You may use myBanWeb during this extended time to drop a class; however, any resulting addition of full semester classes must be done on campus and conform to the established college procedures regarding late registration.

Online Classes

Registration for online courses, once the semester has started, is permitted during the first week of the course on a case-by-case basis provided there are seats available. You can check for enrollment on all online courses at the CC Online homepage, http://cconline.cerrocoso.edu. Enrollment is updated daily on this site. Contact the CC Online office at 888-537-6932 for information on “wait lists” for closed online classes and late registration.
