Construction of LRCThe new Learning Resource Center has been completed and is open to the public. Ground was broken on May 1, 2002 for a state of the art Learning Resource Center for Cerro Coso College. Construction of the $8.2 million dollar facility began on July 8, 2002. The two-story, 40,000 square-foot building will unify the college’s library, learning, and information resources with technical infrastructure to support those services. The building was designed by Chris Addington and Kevin Cobb, principals of The Addington Partnership, the Kern Community College District’s architectural design firm.
