Review of ASB open forum meeting of 10/15/03. Forum agreed that ASBKRV is acceptabl e, Newspaper prototype was approved of. The bi-laws and constitution was mentined and advised as to not completed yet and we will be hoping to have the draft finished by the end of the semester.

Concern voiced by the student body that there is not enough participation at forum meetings.

Newspaper Co-operation with IWV is being addressed.

We need to clarify what date the chili cook-off is. This could be good for promoting the ASB and Sheryl will provide a recipe.

Gary, from Isabella Market says that he cannot accomadate as high a volume of overflow from the sales this year so we need to pay closer attention to our commitments.

So far, over a hundred commitments have been given.

Tim will do the pitch in Gary Enns class at 9:00 A.M. on Monday.

Smoking, ASCC at IWV, Constitution

Minutes Continued

Smokers are becoming grievious because of the heat and inconvenience. Discussion of “Common Areas” and benches. The planning commission will be contacted for safety and locations. (Permits)

The main issue is: What is the “Student representitive fund?”

Apparently each student is supposed to donate one dollar to this fund (We need more information about this ASAP)

What sanctions can be given if students do not comply.

Also, each club is allowed two representatives, however,  the whole student body can attend open forum at IWV if they choose to do so.
