ASB Meeting Minutes October 15 2001

Attendees: Robert, Cristina, Donna, Terra, Linda, Sean

Treasury Report:Approx amount $1720. Deposited $40 from bake sale, made $110 at bake sale.

Bake Sale: Terra will make copies of prices for our bake sale. Terra will make the carne asada, Cristina will make the pan de muertos, Cristina and Terra will make the arroz  (rice), Donna will make the frijoles (beans).

            Baked Goods sale will be held on November 20

Sponsor List: Still getting list together.

Shirts: Shirts will cost $23 each. We will be paying half of that, which comes out to $11.50

Hallowe’en: Los Dias de los Muertos Luncheon will be from 12pm-5pm. Candy will be handed out after costume judging which will begin at 5pm. Linda will be donating candy. Hours to be worked at luncheon:

            12-1     Robert & Terra

1-2             Sean (Cristina will be in at 1:30-2:30)

2-3             Donna

3-4       ?

4-5             ?

CD Burner for computer lab: Clay has approved a CD burner for the lab. Burner would be available for use by all students signed up for computer lab. Prices range from $70-$190.

Open Floor: talked about having salads and/or other non-sweet goods at the bake sales. Students have been wanting a sandwich vending machine. Suggestion by Linda to have soups and crackers for some of the bake sales.

Dennis White accepted the open ASB position.
