ASB Meeting Minutes- October 1, 2001

Meeting called by Robert at 9:10am

Last meeting minutes read by: Cristina

Treasury Report by :Terra = same as last time $1685.99

Replacement of an Officer: Joy resigned, Cristina moves up to Vice-President, Donna takes position of Secretary. Robert will speak with person who is next in line for position on the Board, if he declines, Robert to speak with next in line. If she declines, we have the option to leave position open until next semester or have an “essay writing” for students interested. We vote on those students participating in essay writing.

Sponsor List: Jo Ann & Linda turned in 4 sponsor papers. List itself is still being compiled and finalized.

Terra & Cristina’s Time: End of month luncheon-THEME: Los Dias de los Muertos (Hallowe’en) Date: October 30-Tuesday. Time 12-5pm. Menu: Carne Asada (Car-nay Ah-sah-dah) Tacos, Rice, Beans and Pan de Muertos.

Pricing for the meal will take place sometime this week (October 1-5)

Shirts: Terra has called Lori, will touch base with her again this week. Shirts will be short-sleeved denim with our Name and position on the ASB. We pay half, ASB pays half.

Cans: Cristina will do for October-every Wednesday, cans to be dropped at Robert’s.

Halloween: Costume judging from 4-5pm (during luncheon/dinner) Winners announced at 5pm, prizes from Bookstore.

ASB Card Photos: program is up and working now, photos will be taken soon.

Open Floor: Newsletters-Student and Teacher “Biography” each edition. January, Potluck-Recipe contest?, Recipes in each newsletter? Classified Ads discussed-thought to be a good idea by all.
