The First Annual Art Festival & Community Competition
Emerging artists always bring new excitement to the arts, with this in mind
Cerro Coso Community College’s Art Club is sponsoring it’s First Annual Art
Festival and Community Competition with a gala opening night May 1, 2009,
from 5 PM until 9 PM, at the Cerro Coso College Bishop Campus. We
have a community of exceptional artists and photographers. The competition
is an opportunity to share your artistic talent with our community.
After the opening night the exhibit will be displayed at the college from
May 1 until May 15. The exhibit will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 2 PM until 7 PM and on graduation night, May 8, 2009, prior to and
after graduation.
Each category will be judged by a panel of three different judges who are
known for their expertise in the particular category. Judges will offer
brief critiques to individual submissions as time permits.

contest will have the option of offering their art/photography for sale.
Art or photography entered in the contest will be listed either “for

which will be posted with the art/photography. Proceeds from the sale of
art/photography will go directly to the winning participant. A 20%
