Searchable Class Database Feature

The searchable schedule includes all of the courses offered by the colleges in the Kern Community College District and you can select the specific location you want to take courses at. You can also search for courses by the time of day you want to take classes, or you can view only open classes. You may also use the manual schedule format by clicking on one of the links for the HTML frames format schedules. We also provide the schedule in PDF format, where available.

Registering For Classes

To register for classes please go to the Admissions page and follow the instructions based on your student status as a New or Continuing/Returning student.

Summer & Fall 2008 Registration

  • Please see schedule information below for details on registration dates.

  • On-Campus registration begins May 8 for Summer & Fall 2008.

    • No appointment required

    • Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 8:00am to 6:00pm, Fri. 8:00am to 12:00pm

  • Late registration will take place June 9-13 for Summer 2008.

Important Dates for Spring 2008
 

November 14 Web Registration begins for “Special Populations” and CONTINUING STUDENTS by assigned appointment (Priority Registration Procedures).
December 5 Web Registration begins for NEW and RETURNING STUDENTS. On campus registration begins - no appointment required.
January 21 SPRING 2008 SEMESTER BEGINS
January 21 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday - COLLEGE CLOSED
January 22 Classes Convene
January 22-28 Late registration period/program changes.
February 1 Last day to request a refund for full-term classes (10% date).
February 15 Lincoln Day Holiday - COLLEGE CLOSED
February 18 Washing Day Holiday - COLLEGE CLOSED
February 22 Last day to drop a class without entry on permanent record. Deadline to petition for Credit/No-Credit grading (30% date).
March 24-28 SPRING BREAK - NO CLASSES
April 4 Last day to withdraw from full-term classes with a “W” (60% date).
May 12-16 Final Exams.
May 16 Last day of full semester (16-week) classes.
