TVI Actors Studio

This Saturday, the Cerro Coso Drama Department is hosting Guest Speakers from TVI Actors Studio as part of the "Becoming a Working Actor" Workshop Series. The presentation will be held Saturday (10/18) at 12 noon in the Lecture Center and will focus on marketing and employment strategies for actors.

The presentation is FREE and open to the public!

TVI Actors Studio is the nation's largest resource center for actors, offering continued dramatic instruction, entertainment industry networking, professional career consulation, and marketing support for actors. With full-service centers in Los Angeles and New York, TVI sets the industry standard for merging traditional actor training with the realities of the business.

Alan Nusbaum (Founder and CEO of TVI) was an agent at the prestigious Cunningham, Escott, Dipene Agency. Some of the clients he represented include Courtney Cox, Phoebe Cates, Sandra Bullock, and Margeux Hemingway. After agenting, he became a personal manager, representing actors for TV and film. Mr. Nusbaum is currently the President of TVI Actors Studio in LA and New York. He has spoken at hundreds of colleges and universities around the country and world about the realities of becoming a working professional actor.

The presentation will begin at noon. Students enrolled in the workshop will meet after the conclusion of the presentation. The workshop on Saturday will end at 4:20. It is not too late to sign up for this workshop, Drama C49A. However, the presentation itself is free and open to the public.
