4th Annual Animation

Awards Festival

The Academy of Digital Animation would like to announce their 4th annual Animation Awards Festival. The festival will feature original student work from the Digital Animation Academy at Cerro Coso College, the Burroughs Outreach, Murray Middle School, and the Digital Media Youth Camp. The festival will also offer a demonstration of the Unreal Tournament 2003 Game Mod, where visitors can play the game live and try it out for themselves. Two highlights of the festival will be a demonstration by Sidney Ferreira, a former Disney animator, who will be demonstrating the development of a character, as well as a presentation by Harry Cheney, Writer/Producer, who will be discussing careers in feature film and t.v.

The details for the Animation Festival are as follows:

Date:  Wednesday August 20, 2003
Time:  6-9 pm
Location:  Kerr McGee Center
               100 W. California Ave.
               Ridgecrest, CA
