Christmas Art Giveaway Success

Wishing you a Happy Holiday from the ARTS Action club and the Art Department.
Christmas Giveaway scene

Every year the ARTS Action club and the Art Department students and faculty come together to provide a much appreciated Christmas gift to the college and community members. Not only do visitors receive a gift, sandwiches, salad, and cake are provided free of charge to all who come to enjoy this event.

A tremendous effort is put forth every year by the faculty and students to produce the hundreds of pottery items given as gifts. Each piece is handcrafted and unique, and there is a wide range of styles, colors, and glazes. All of the work is done on a volunteer basis, with no compensation beyond the reward of a job well done.

This holiday event is a favorite among the staff and faculty at the college. Many members anxiously await the event and look forward to adding a new piece of art to their collection. Students and community members alike also enjoy this event and look forward to it with equal enthusiasm.

Hopefully this tradition will continue at Cerro Coso for many years to come. Have a Happy Holiday season and we'll see you next year!
