How you get one, and what to do if you've lost your Student ID#, PIN, or online class login or password.

Student ID#

Creating your Student Identification Number (Student ID#)

When you first access the online student information system (myBanWeb), you will do so using your 9 digit social security number (no dashes or slashes). The PIN will be your date of birth (mmddyy), again no slashes or dashes. You will then be given a Student ID# that begins with an @ symbol and you will be asked to change your PIN to a new 6 digit number.

What to do if you can't remember your Student ID#

You can always login to the system with your social security number, so even if you can't remember your student ID#, you can access the system. You will still need whatever PIN number you selected however. Once you login to the system you can go to Personal Information > View Your Student ID to find out what your number is. Be sure to write this down so you'll have it next time.

What to do if you can't remember your PIN

There is a "Forgot PIN" button available on the login page that will take you to a page that will provide you the password hint you set up when you first create your account. You must first enter your Student ID# or social security number before clicking the "Forgot PIN" button.

If you still cannot remember your PIN, you can request that your PIN be reset (contact a Counselor or Admissions to do so, or use the form at right). Your PIN will be reset to your date of birth (mmddyy).

Help! My account has been locked

If you enter an incorrect PIN more than 3 times your account will be locked and a member from Admissions or Counseling will need to reset your pin. You can use the form at right to send a request.

Online Class Accounts

Cerro Coso's online classes require logins and passwords, issued by Cerro Coso, in order to access the class. Some classes taught in Moodle (a course management system) allow you to generate your own account. This information will assist you if you lose your login/password:

When do I get my online class login account?

When you sign into class on the first day through the CC Online website you will fill out a form that verifies that you are enrolled in the class. Once verified, you will be given the class information. It is very important that you print out the class access information as this is the only time you will receive the class login account.

If you have lost your class access account information, please contact the CC Online webmaster, Kiana Wyatt at CC Online. For Moodle classes go to the Moodle homepage and click on the "Lost pass?" link in the login box.

How do I get to my class site?

After the first time you login to your class and receive your account information you will be given the class URL, but if you ever lose this you can go to our portal page to get to your class: http://cconline.cerrocoso.edu/student/portal.htm
