BBQ & STAR PARTY THIS FRIDAY

Buy your tickets today for the College’s Fourth Annual Astronomical Barbecue & Star Party scheduled for Friday, October 9.  This family event is sponsored by the College and the Cerro Coso Community College Foundation.

Barbecue Time:         5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Entertainment:           Cerro Coso Community Band
Location:                   Library’s Grass Area
Slide Shows:              6:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Star Party Time:        7:30 p.m. (Golf Carts Provided)
 
Menu - The menu includes a Tri-tip sandwich dinner with all the fixings, along with hot dogs for the younger kids.  
 
Drawings - There will also be a wide assortment of door prize drawings conducted during dinner.
 
Tickets Price - adults $10.00 and children $8.00. Tickets are available at Red Rock Books, Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce, and the Cerro Coso Business Office.

Free Concert October 10th in Sculpture Garden
Featuring: Tom Foggia Guitarist, and Cerro Coso instructor, Dr. Tom Foggia will be performing a solo guitar recital on Saturday, October 10th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Sculpture Garden.  Foggia will perform a variety of works on both classical and electric guitar consisting of traditional classical and Spanish works, jazz selections, and songs by Santana.  Bring a lawn chair – No Alcohol Allowed
