Lost and Found
Cerro Coso Community College Lost and Found
is located at the Switchboard (main building 2nd floor Room 219A).

LAC Proctored Exam Policy
As of August 31, 2009, all college exams and
quizzes will be proctored in the Learning Assistance Center for the fall
semester with faculty and classified staff supervision. Please
note the following testing times available through December 12, 2009.
Monday through Thursday 5:30pm – 9:30pm, Wednesdays 1:30pm – 5:30pm, and
Fridays 8:00am – 12:00pm
Testing is provided by appointment only, no exceptions allowed. It
is the responsibility of all students to make an appointment in advance
and notify the instructor of the appointment time. At the end of
each day all tests are taken to the switchboard and delivered to the
instructors’ mailboxes.
Please make sure the following information is included on the exam
page(s):
Instructor’s Name
Course Name
Time Allowed (1-hour, 2-hour, no time limit, etc.)
Expiration Date, if applicable
Any Special Instructions (open book, calculator OK,
no notes, etc.)
In addition to the testing, we offer FREE tutoring services for all
subjects in the LAC. If you are new to the campus, please come by
and visit us. We are located in the new library facility on the second
floor, Room 704. A member of our staff will be happy to give you a
tour and answer your questions.
Freddy Horn and His Band (Free Concert)
Looking for an evening of music and fun? The Associated
Students of Cerro Coso Community College are pleased to present a
FREE concert by saxophone player, Freddy Horn and his band.
The concert will be held in the College Sculpture Garden, located
across the street from the gymnasium, on Saturday, September 19,
2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (no alcohol allowed).
Come and join us for an evening of great entertainment! Bring
your own lawn chair.
Horn has led his own bands and played in many other groups in Los
Angeles for over 15 years. He has worked with Les Claypool
from Primus, jazz pianist Benny Green, blues guitarist Mike
Bloomfield, San Francisco Bay area guitarist Ray Obiedo, rock singer
Eddie Money, Chris Chaney-bassist for Alanis Morrisette, and has
also worked with Jimmy Kimmel and Wayne Brady on several television
shows. Horn currently leads his own band which performs
regularly in Hollywood and at jazz restaurants in Glendale,
California. The public is welcome to this FREE concert of
musical enjoyment.
