LAC Make-up Testing Policy

All college exams and quizzes will be proctored in the Learning Assistance Center for the summer semester with faculty supervision.   Testing is provided by appointment only, no exceptions allowed.  It is the responsibility of all students to make an appointment in advance and notify the instructor of the appointment time.  At the end of each day all tests are taken to the switchboard and delivered to the instructors’ mailboxes.  In addition to the testing, we offer FREE tutoring services for all subjects.  If you are new to the campus, please come by and visit us. We are located in the new library facility on the second floor, Room 704.  A member of our staff will be happy to give you a tour and answer your questions.

Cerro Coso Lost & Found

The Lost and Found for Cerro Coso is located at the Switchboard on the 2nd floor Main Building, room 219A.  If you have lost something come by and check if it is here.  The switchboard hours are:
Monday – Thursday 7:45am – 9pm
Friday 8am – 12pm.

Coyote Kitchen Closed

The kitchen will not be open during finals week.  There will be fresh fruit, granola bars, coffee and cup of Noodles for sale during the morning outside the ASCC Office, Room 248 and subs in the Student Center from 11:30-5:30 while supplies last.

LRC Parking & Fire Lane

The dirt parking lot next to the LRC is for staff only. Parking is on a first come basis.  The “fire lane” is exactly that; a fire lane and there is no parking allowed.

Smoking Areas on Campus

The smoking areas are 30 ft from the outside doors and not under the bridges; we do have a space between the East wing and the LRC with some ash trays. Please DO NOT use the planters as ash trays.
