"Seussical"
Imagine a world where anything is
possible. Allow the Cat in the Hat to lead you on a fantastical
journey through the magical world of Dr. Seuss where elephants
talk and kangaroos sing! Travel from the microscopic world of
Whoville to the Jungle of Nool and encounter all of your
favorite Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The
Grinch, Lazie Mayzie, Gertrude McFuzz, and all the Whos of
Whoville. The classic, colorful tales of Dr. Seuss are
seamlessly woven together in this musical extravaganza. With
music by Stephen Flaherty and Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, the score
emerges as a gumbo of musical styles, ranging from Latin to pop,
swing to gospel, and R&B to funk!
Bring everyone from the smallest of
small to the tallest of tall to Cerro Coso’s presentation of the
Dr. Seuss Musical Seussical. The show will be presented on
Friday, May 11, 2007 and Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. and
on Sunday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $7 for General
Admission; $5 for Students, Seniors, and Military; and $3 for
children 12 and under. Tickets are available at Red Rock Books
and at the Cerro Coso Business Office. Tickets will also be
available at the door. Don’t miss this evening of fun for the
whole family!
