The annual Health Career’s Open House
will be sponsored by the Student Vocational Nurses at Cerro Coso
Community College on Thursday, April 12, 2007. The Open House
event will start at 8:30a.m. and conclude at 2:00p.m. The
student nurses will provide demonstrations and information about
a variety of health topics. This year’s theme topic is
Challenges for Everyday Health. High school students, parents,
and the general public are encouraged to attend. The Counseling
Center takes an active part in this Open House event. Counselors
will be on hand to speak to students about basic college issues
including admission requirements, types of college majors, and
how to seek financial aide. Updates and information are
