CERRO COSO TO HOST NEW ART EXHIBIT
“The Constructed Image”
Cerro Coso Community College will present an
exciting art exhibit in the new Learning Resource Center Art Gallery for
the month of March. Beginning March 1st and continuing through March
31st the art gallery will display a collection of digitally created
images by students taking courses in the Media Arts Department of the
College. “The Constructed Image” exhibit will be available for viewing
from 9am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, and 9am to 4pm on Fridays. For
additional information about this show, contact instructor Dick Benson
at 384-6240.

Come Join the Leprechaun’s
Associated Student Body of Cerro Coso
will be hosting a Leprechaun Dinner in the Student Center on
Friday, March 16th from 6 – 8:30pm. A scrumptious Corn Beef and
Cabbage with Blarney potatoes, Golden Bread and a dessert worth
a pot of gold! Drinks include sparkling green cider, coffee, tea
or water. Tickets are $10 per plate ($8 with an ASB card) and
can be purchased in the Student Activities Office (Rm 248) or in
town at Red Rock Books and 1 Stop Market. For more information
contact Anna Sue Eldridge at 384-6353.
Cerro Coso A.S.C.C. Presents
Battle of the Bands
When: Saturday, March 24th
Where: Cerro Coso Gymnasium
Time: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Limited to 10 bands
$35.00 entry fee 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes.
Admission: $3.00 General Public A.S.C.C. Card Holder FREE!
Each band will have a 30-minute set. Placement will be “luck of
the draw.” Bands must furnish their own instruments & equipment.
Food and soft drinks will be available for purchase during this
event. Contact: Anna Sue Eldridge 384-6353 in the Student
Activities office Room 248.
