The Alumni Board of Directors, and invited guests, will be honoring
Morgann at an awards luncheon on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in
recognition of her dedication and many academic achievements. The
Alumni Association would like to congratulate Morgann and also thank all
Cerro Coso faculty for their nominations.

tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the
trash after you use it.
Wash your hands often with soap and
water. If soap and water are not available, use an
alcohol-based hand rub.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or
mouth. Germs spread this way.

College to Present Fall Band Concert (Nov
19)
The Cerro Coso Community Band will present their Fall 2009 Concert
on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the College Lecture
Center. Directed by Daniel Peterson, this is sure to be an evening
of pure musical entertainment. Featured works include “Out of
This World” the music of John Williams, selections from “The William
Bryd Suite,” “What’s Up at the Symphony,” along with a variety of
many other pieces to be performed for your enjoyment. This is a FREE
concert. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Donations gratefully accepted.
Men of Worth Concert (Nov 20)
Men of worth, Donnie MacDonald and James Keigher, will appear in
concert on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the College
Lecture Center, courtesy of the Associated Students of Cerro Coso.
CD’s and tapes will be offered for sale during intermission and
after the concert. Price of general admission is $10.00, students
with current ASCC “Coyote Card” $5.00. Tickets are available
at the Cerro Coso Business Office and Student Activities Office and
Red Rock Books. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, if
space is available. For more information, contact the Student
Activities Office.
Free Concert in College Sculpture Garden (Nov 21)
The Associated Students of Cerro Coso Community College are pleased
to present a FREE concert of Celtic music featuring The Browne
Sisters & George Cavanaugh on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 2:00
p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the College’s Sculpture Garden. Their
sets always include several rousing numbers and a few traditional
and not so traditional ballads, and always a Gaelic song or two.
