RET C161 Content Review
Prerequisite MATH C050 and	It is necessary for the student to know signed arithmetic and its application to algebraic functions. In addition, the student should know exponentiation and be able to solve equations such as needed for extracted power for a wind turbine generator.
Prerequisite RET C100	It is necessary for the student to: • Apply the basics of energy capture for key wind and solar technologies. • Understand the relationship between different technology sub-disciplines and key components for major renewable energy industries such as wind and solar energy. This knowledge is essential as a foundation for in-depth learning of the different electrical and mechanical sub-systems of a wind turbine generator that is covered in this course.
