Advisory RET C100 and	The basics of solar energy capture learned from RET C101 is applied to site selection and site preparation for putting up a residential or commercial solar photovoltaic system.
Advisory INSF C070	It is suggested that the student take INSF-C070 concurrently with this course if it has not been taken previously. It is helpful for the student to know and use personal protective equipment (PPE) and to recognize potential electrical and other safety hazards when putting up a solar array. The INSF C070 course covers safe operating procedures which students can, at least concurrently, practice and apply in the lab portion of this class.
