It is suggested that the student take INSF C070 concurrently with this course if not taken previously. It is helpful for the student to know and use personal protective equipment (PPE) and to recognize potential electrical and other safety hazards. Knowledge of the use of PPE and recognition of safety hazards in the workplace are necessary for the safe use of test equipment around energized circuits. This knowledge is helpful as the student may encounter these potential hazards in the lab section of this class. |
