RET C115 Content Review
Advisory INSF C070 and	It is suggested that the student take INSF C070 concurrently with this course if not taken previously. It is helpful for the student to know and use personal protective equipment (PPE) and to recognize potential electrical and other safety hazards. Knowledge of the use of PPE and recognition of safety hazards in the workplace are necessary for the safe use of test equipment around energized circuits. This knowledge is helpful as the student may encounter these potential hazards in the lab section of this class.
Advisory MATH C056 and	It is suggested that the student take MATH C056 concurrently with this course if not taken previously. It is helpful for the student to know and apply mathematical concepts to industrial/technical situations, which include geometry and trigonometry. Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry are needed for the student to understand the concepts taught in this class around single and 3Ø AC.
Advisory RET C100	It is suggested that the student take RET C101 concurrently with this course if not taken previously. It is helpful for the student to know the basics of energy capture and efficiency for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This knowledge is helpful for the student in understanding the underlying electronic materials that make up the PV cell that is covered in this class.
