Prerequisite
PHED C151 |
In first level conditioning class, all of the basic concepts of safety
and basic exercise skills are covered. In the first semester much of the emphasis is on learning techniques on strategies for safe exercise and basic elements of an exercise program, such as flexibility, stretches, isometric, isotonic-weight lifting, aerobics, aerobic dance, jogging, running, and circuit training. Students who have not completed a college level equivalent of PHED C151 would be unprepared for the more advanced concepts and requirements, such as agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time and speed, in PHED C152. |
