    2. Acquire and improve basic tennis skills and strategies.
    3. Differentiate and show three basic racquet grips, and articulate the purposes of each grip
    4. Discuss basic strategies for Singles and Doubles

    Lecture:

    A.                  To learn the history, terminology, equipment, and fashion of the game.

    B.                  Knowledge of the game

    3.                   Strategies and tactics- singles and doubles

    4.                   Court etiquette and laws

    5.                   Seeding and ranking

    C.                  Instruction in individual skills and fundamentals

    1.                   Basic grips- Eastern forehand and backhand, Western Forehand and backhand, Semi-Western forehand, and Continental

    2.                   Production of strokes- body position, footwork, backswing, ball contact, and fallow-through

    3.                   Stokes to be learned- Cannonball serve, twist serve, forehand drive, backhand drive, punch volley, drive volley, smash, and spin usage

    4.                   Tournament play
