CC Online Troubleshooting Class Access
NOTE: There are times when your browser will prevent you from accessing your class. We recommend using the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer.
Please note: Firefox is the preferred browser to participate in classes that use the Moodle system (you can use any browser, but most problems are fixed by using Firefox).
Problems and Solutions
You cannot get to your CC Online class from InsideCC
If the portal is down or the links in it are not working, you can go directly to the CC Online class server by going to https://moodle2.cerrocoso.edu/my.
You click on the class link on the Student Login page and nothing happens
The links on the Student Login page (and some of the pages in the First Time Login process) are designed to open up in a new window. Make sure you disable your pop-up blocker for our site so that these windows can open.
You can't remember your login or password
Your login is your school assigned email address (@email.cerrocoso.edu, @email.bakersfieldcollege.edu, or @email.portervillecollege.edu). At any time, you can use the "Forgot Password" link on the InsideCC login page to reset your password.
If that doesn't work, you can use the HelpDesk at http://support.kccd.edu, or 877-382-3508.
You can no longer access the online course, even though you've already been participating in the class
If you do not see the course on your My Courses tab, after you have already been participating, you have been dropped. This could be a result of your instructor dropping you, or a system glitch. Please contact your instructor. Use the Campus Directory to find your instructor's contact information.
Note: Some companies have firewalls and won't let you access some sites. Talk with your Network Administrator if your company is one of these.
